- Bernard Hewitt from the Cook's Ferry Band was charged with possession of fish and fishing where fishing was prohibited on October 1978. His case came before the court on August 1, and Judge Diebolt found Bernard guilty of the charge. He was given absolute discharge, which meant he gained no record and was not fined.
