Item is a photograph of a UBCIC Special Assembly at Sheraton Landmark. Photograph is an interior snapshot of a conference room. People are seated in rows of chairs, with several left vacant; their attention is to the front of the room. In the background several people are standing, some in conversation. In the background the windows and exit doors are covered with full length curtains. On the support pillar in the left background are hung posters. One has a light coloured circle containing text, with four arrows point outward on a dark background. Beneath it is a posting consisting of indiscernible text. In the central background sit a group of three people perched against the table, the woman on the left is wearing a ten gallon hat and dark clothing; she is holding a [deerskin] hand drum. The man and woman next to her both have shoulder length hair, wearing dark lens glasses, button down shirts beneath dark vests and jeans.
