- Item is a photograph of a UBCIC Special Assembly at Sheraton Landmark. Photograph is an interior snapshot of a conference room. People are seated in rows of chairs, with several left vacant; their attention is to the front of the room. In the background several people are standing, some in conversation. In the background the windows and exit doors are covered with full length curtains. On the support pillars in the left and right background are hung posters. One has a light coloured circle containing text, with four arrows point outward on a dark background. Beneath it is a posting consisting of indiscernible text. In the foreground sit a couple, she has long curly hair and is wearing ear rings and two necklaces. One necklace is made with contrasting coloured beads; the other has a pendent with a [furry or fuzzy] edging. She is wearing a dark long sleeved tee shirt beneath a short sleeved v-neck shirt with furry trim. The man has short hair and metal frame glasses and is wearing a floral print shirt with a dark background.
