- Item is a photograph of a British Columbia Wildlife Federation (BCWF) meeting held at Marco Hall. Photograph is an interior snapshot of the head table, where a man wearing a suit and tie stands addressing those in the audience who out of view of the camera. He is gesturing with one hand; the other is [reaching into his back pant pocket]. The man seated to the left in the photograph is also wearing a suit and tie; he is holding up a gavel. On the table are a 35mm camera, audio tape recorder, a glass, a package of cigarettes, dark framed glasses and a metal carafe. A man stands next to the table; he has short hair with side burns and horn rimmed glasses and is wearing a windbreaker. Near the glass doorway stands a man in a dark coloured overcoat leafing through the pages of paper he holds in his hands. In the corner a man stands on something, as his head is close to the ceiling; he is holding a movie camera on his shoulder.

- The B.C. Wildlife Federation held a meeting on January 19th, 1979 to discuss the depletion of salmon. Hugh Anderson, Parliamentary Secretary to Hugh Faulkner, Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, spoke at the event in support of the Aboriginal Right to food fishing. Discussions were held regarding the depletion of salmon stocks through the commercial fishing industry and industrial pollution. UBCIC, the Musqueam Indian Band, the Squamish Nation, and the United Native Nations were in attendance.
