Permission for Use and Reproduction

Reproductions are for personal, research, and educational purposes only. All other uses require the express permission of the Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs.
Those wishing to use UBCIC images for publication and commercial use are required to submit a completed Permissions for Use Application and Agreement.
The Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs Library and Archives is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. Use fees are charged to recover costs and sustain collections. The Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs Library and Archives reserves the right to waive fees or to refuse permission for photographic reproduction and use.

*Photographic reproduction prints are outsourced. Prices reflect the cost of reproduction services plus administrative costs. If no negative exists, an additional $5.00 will be charged to scan and print the image. Prints from a traditional copy negative will be made for an additional $25.00
**Requests for specific scan resolutions can be accommodated. Additional fees may apply.
***There will be no charge to member communities for photos of family members.
